I really love this idea! Good for you! How exciting for kids to get stuff in the mail. I'm sure this made the learning so much fun, exciting, and kids eager to learn about the next country!
Oh I have been wanting to study countries with my girl and I really love this idea of contacting the embassies. Your kids must be excited to get info packets in mail:)
What a neat idea! I just subscribed to Little Passports to teach our youngest about different countries. We might contact the embassies, too. Thank you for sharing!
It's been a great, fun, educational project. We did Little Passports for a trial and it seemed like extra expense for not much with all the effort I was putting in to the homeschool curriculum. I think it'd be an awesome supplement for public school kids.
I do not home school, but I love to help and teach my kids when I have the chance. And I just love this whole idea. I did not read though all the country's yet but the ones I have I enjoyed. I think it is great that the kids were involved (with the picture) to send to the Embassy too. Thanks so much for sharing on We Made That. I am going to go ask my daughter now to pick a country she wants to learn about and we will start writing embassy!
This is a fabulous idea! Kids love getting mail and you made it such educational mail! Thanks for linking up with us over at NOBH!
Very cool! I had no idea you could ask embassies to send info to you.
Love this idea - sorry my embassy weren't more helpful1
I didn't realize this was available. What a great way to learn about different places. Great learning opportunity.
What a wonderful idea to help learn about the different countries! I would have honestly never thought to contact the different embassy's to send information for educational purposes. Thank you for linking up this week to my Enchanted Thursdays Blog Hop!
Thanks for all your positive feedback. I hope the projects is successful for you all as well!
Bummer some of them did not respond! Glad you got a lot of countries to participate though!
This is such a great idea... I will certainly have to look into this! Thanks so much for sharing.
